Terms and Conditions – Urbeauty

Article 1 – Definitions

In these general terms and conditions the following terms are understood to mean:

  1. Entrepreneur : the natural or legal person who offers beauty products remotely to consumers via a webshop.

  2. Consumer : the natural person who is not acting for purposes relating to his trade, business, craft or profession.

  3. Distance contract : a contract concluded using an online sales system without physical presence.

  4. Withdrawal period : the period within which the consumer can make use of his statutory right of withdrawal.

  5. Satisfaction guarantee : the option voluntarily offered by the entrepreneur to return a used product, even outside the statutory right of withdrawal, under certain conditions.

  6. Day : calendar day.

Article 3 – Applicability

  1. These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by the entrepreneur and to every distance contract concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer.

  2. Before the agreement is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions will be made available to the consumer.

  3. Deviations from these conditions are only valid if agreed in writing.


Article 4 – The offer

  1. The beauty products offered are clearly and completely described, with prices including VAT.

  2. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind the entrepreneur.

  3. If a product is temporarily unavailable, this will be clearly stated.


Article 5 – The Agreement

  1. The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and confirms it by the entrepreneur.

  2. After receiving the order, the consumer will receive a confirmation by e-mail with an order overview.

  3. The entrepreneur shall take appropriate measures to secure electronic data transfer.


Article 6 – Right of withdrawal (legal)

  1. The consumer has the right to cancel the agreement within 14 days after receiving the product without giving any reason.

  2. Products that are sealed for hygiene or health reasons (such as creams, make-up or serums) can only be returned if the seal has not been broken.

  3. For correct handling, the consumer must return the product complete and – if possible – in its original condition and packaging.


Article 7 – Satisfaction Guarantee

  1. In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, Urbeauty offers a satisfaction guarantee on selected products.

  2. This guarantee means that the consumer may return a product within 30 days of receipt, even after use, if it does not meet expectations.

  3. The satisfaction guarantee does not apply to:

    • Products that are almost completely used up.

    • Products that have been visibly misused.

  4. Refunds will be made within 14 days after receipt and inspection of the returned product.

  5. The satisfaction guarantee is an addition to the right of withdrawal, not a replacement for it.


Article 8 – Prices and payments

  1. All prices listed are inclusive of VAT.

  2. The consumer can choose from the payment methods offered during the ordering process.

  3. Payment must be made within the specified period.


Article 9 – Delivery

  1. The entrepreneur will execute orders with care.

  2. Orders will be delivered to the address specified by the consumer.

  3. Delivery time is usually 1–5 business days. If delivery is delayed, the consumer will be notified promptly.

  4. If delivery proves impossible, the consumer is entitled to a refund of the full purchase price.


Article 10 – Returns

  1. Returns must be reported in advance via [returns portal / email address].

  2. In case of returns under the right of withdrawal or satisfaction guarantee, the return costs are for the consumer, unless stated otherwise.

  3. Insufficiently stamped returns will not be accepted.


Article 11 – Complaints procedure

  1. Complaints regarding the performance of the agreement must be reported within a reasonable period of time via [customer service email address].

  2. The entrepreneur will respond to complaints within 14 days of receipt.


Article 12 – Disputes

  1. This agreement is exclusively governed by Dutch law.

  2. Disputes can be submitted to the competent court or a recognized dispute committee.


Article 13 – Additional provisions

  1. Additional or deviating provisions are only valid if they are recorded in writing.

  2. Urbeauty reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. The amended terms and conditions will apply from the moment they are published on the website.
